Kayleigh has been developing her make up skills…

Over the past few months, Kayleigh has been taking part in some advanced make up training to gain and develop new skills.

Kayleigh has been training with the North Wests industry leading make up artist… Kate Hayes at her fabulous new academy in Liverpool. Kate has worked with a huge range of celebrities, tv personalities and has created an amazing name for herself from her work.

As part of Kate Hayes advanced make up training, Kayleigh has been learning and practasing a range of new and advanced make up looks!

Our NEW gel polish range!

As some of you may know at the beginning of the year we added a “new” gel polish system in to the salon. I say “new” as I had originally purchased this system the year before, but due to other commitments and a very busy time in the salon I didn’t get the chance to really try out this range.
After speaking to a number of different salon owners, beauty therapists and nail techs I decided to give it another go and spend some more time with in salon training and getting the hang of this new system- using CND Shellac since qualifying, this system felt very different to use for us as the nail technicians.

We understand life is busy, things happen and sometimes it can’t be helped and you may need to change your appointments. But, at the end of the day we are a business. A business trying to make money to ensure each member of staff can be paid, bills can be paid and products can be bought. You wouldn’t accept going into work and being told your not needed for a couple of hours so you won’t be getting paid, would you?
